2021 Collective Bargaining Initial Proposal

In accordance to the Anchorage Council of Education (ACE) Bylaws, ACE submitted a letter of intent to negotiate the 2021 - 2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement in October 2020, at the Anchorage School District (ASD) School Board meeting.

ACE and ASD entered into negotiations November 10, 2020 where initial proposals were exchanged. You are able to view both proposals below.

Contract ratification has closed

Negotiations has come to an end. The ACE negotiations team held three informational meeting between June 21st thru June 23rd. At the end of the third meeting the ratification opened for a vote and closed June 30th at 5:00 p.m.

I am happy to inform you that the newly negotiated contract was overwhelmingly ratified, with 92.6% of the votes approving the ratification. 125 Yes Votes to 10 No Votes.

The Anchorage District School Board is scheduled to meet August 3, 2021 whereas one of the topics is the approval of the newly ratified ACE collective bargaining agreement. Once ACE and ASD have finalized the draft the 2021-2024 CBA will be posted for membership viewing.
